Lands of America data shows $384 million in land, homesites and other rural acreage for sale for sale in the Buckeye State. This represents some 35,680 acres of land for sale in the state. The most expensive land listed for sale on Lands of America recently was $12 million, although the median price for land and rural real estate for sale in Ohio was $297,093. The average price of land and rural property for sale in Ohio was $403,517. There was 1,714 acres of sold land in Ohio recorded last month through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a 20 percent decrease in sales activity over the previous month. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $6.6 million. Some 56 species of mammals, 200 species of breeding birds and 170 species of fish call Ohio home. The state has 74 state parks and over 130 preserves, sections of which are open to hunt and fish.
